Protein Powder
Dymatize Elite
CreatineA good quality (whey) protein powder should be a good source of whey protein concentrates, ion exchange whey isolates and have all the BCAAs you need. For me personally it then boils down to taste as to which powder I go for. Having tried the chocolate mint, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate I can say that these rate very nicely above most other brands. Over the last 10 years I've switched between EAS, Reflex, Pro-lab, Dorian Yates and had a brief stint with San. The Dymatize range seem to present the best in terms of the ability to have it with water as a standard post training drink or to mix with oats for a low G.I high protein meal! VERDICT: I’d definitely recommend this product as part of your nutritional regime.

BSN No-xplode
Well this stuff is certainly full of stimulants, and if that’s what you are after for a workout I would recommend it. It definitely gives an incredible aggression and energy ready for lifting weights, although I wouldn’t recommend taking this if you are planning on doing high intensity conditioning and cardiovascular exercises. It does a great job of getting you in 'lifting mode' and will definitely get you motivated when you really don’t feel like training. The usual weight gain from taking creatine comes within a week or so, and you’ll feel bigger and more powerful for it! VERDICT: Highly recommended if you want a supplement to give you some aggression and a mental boost for pushing iron more than ever!
