Frequently Asked Questions
- What will I get from paying for one-on-one sessions? We can all push ourselves but ultimately there is a limit to what you can do on your own. Personal training with Sheraz removes that limit. He’ll get the very best out of you in every session and keep you moving forwards. You’ll have a mentor and a guide who is focused on your personal goals looking out for your best interests. On top of that, having someone design you a personalised diet plan will ensure that you can’t fail!.
- How long will it take me to achieve my goals? This is entirely dependent on your starting point, your goals, your effort, and your ability to listen and carry out instructions. On average, clients who listen to everything and carry out all instructions can make a dramatic change within 8 weeks.
- How many sessions a week would I need Sheraz for? Again, this depends on your goals. He has clients who won’t train without him and want him there for each session so they know they are executing everything precisely. Other clients feel they can do some sessions on their own in addition to sessions with Sheraz. For effective results you should train with Sheraz at least three times per week as well as following his dietary instructions.
- Do I need to follow a diet as well? Sheraz will often mention the importance of having correct food habits to complement your training. However, this needn't be thought of as 'dieting'. Many of the food plans he writes are surprisingly easy to maintain. Correct eating need not be boring or highly restrictive, just organised with some thought behind them.
- I don’t have a lot of time - can I still get good results? Most definitely. When you are busy, time management is an issue. Designing effective and efficient training plans are a strong element in Sheraz's teachings. All it means is your time will need to be organised effectively but if you’re a busy person you already know that. In any event, after sitting down and discussing your schedule with Sheraz time slots can be found to get you training effectively..
- I’ve never trained before, shouldn’t I just go and train myself for a bit and then come to you? That’s one option, and whilst doing this you could pick up bad habits, ineffective ways of training and possibly injuries. It makes far more sense to employ the services of an expert straight away and not to waste any more time than necessary.
-
I’ve been trying for years to change my body but I have not managed to. How can YOU make a difference?
"I can relate to that. For nine years I trained extremely hard but failed to achieve the result I truly wanted.
It was only when I employed the services of a personal trainer that I realised the changes I needed to make, and although I was doing lots of things right,
I was also doing lots of things wrong. It took an expert to get me on track and moving in the right direction."
- Sheraz - How do the seminars differ from the personal training sessions? The seminars are a good insight into Sheraz's teachings and people can come away with inspiration, information and a new lease of life on moving forward in their training goals. Of course, it’s not one-on-one so the information will be more generalised. It’s well worth attending the seminars if you want an introduction to Sheraz's successful style of teaching.
- Do I really need a protein powder? It’s all about stacking the odds in your favour. If you have food prepared and organised, if you have a convenient supplement that helps your training and if you don’t keep junk food in the house you are more likely to succeed. The short answer is no - you don’t have to buy a protein powder to get lean or strong. But it will help you and is worth the minor investment. Sheraz has used protein supplements, in addition to a wide range of natural foods for years and they have helped him maintain good eating habits.
